The cost of a show varies depending on factors like the type of performance, the length of the show, the number of guests, and the event location.

Event pricing can range from $350-$1200.

Mr. Ray will work with you to learn more about your specific needs to provide a tailored quote that fits your event perfectly for a price that is competitive and fair.

A deposit of $100 is required to confirm the booking.

Deposits can be sent electronically via Venmo, Paypal, Apple Pay, or check.

Deposits are only refunded if Mr. Ray cancels the event due to illness or other extenuating circumstances.

Mr. Ray can accept cash, check, Venmo, or Paypal.

Tips are always appreciated, but not expected.

Most formal shows are anywhere from 30-60 minutes. Mr. Ray works with you to customize each show to suit your needs, taking into account the audience, budget, and your scheduling needs.

We recommend booking Mr. Ray AT LEAST one month in advance of your event. The earlier you book, the more likely Mr. Ray will have your preferred dates and times available.

Mr. Ray’s shows are easily adapted to almost any environment. That being said, keep these things in mind:

• A performance space of 6×6 is sufficient for small, private shows, plus additional space for the audience to sit.

• For larger shows and assemblies, a larger (10×10) space is best.

  • A nearby electrical outlet is also needed for larger shows for the sound system.

Mr. Ray needs about 30 minutes to set up his private, home shows.

For school assemblies or other larger shows, we need at least an hour to set up and do sound checks.

If you have specific needs or requirements for set up that cannot accommodate these times, please reach out, and Mr. Ray will work with you to come up with a solution that meets you needs.

“Strolling” or “Walk-Around” magic is a performance style where Mr. Ray moves among your guests at your event performing intimate, close-up magic for small groups of guests.

This type of magic is best suited for cocktail parties, wedding receptions, dinner parties, and other events where there will be a large number of guests mingling and socializing.

Mr. Ray and his wife created a show with music, stories, puppets, special guests, and more in 2020 to share with their students.
